Update on the participation of EAG (Empresarios Agrupados – GHESA) in the EFFITORCH Project

Efficient valorization of CO2 and bio-waste for long-term energy storage using a microwave plasma torch and quenching using the reverse Boudouard Reaction.

EAG (Empresarios Agrupados – GHESA) continues in the development of sustainable solutions for long-term energy storage. The EffiTorch Project uses a microwave plasma torch and rapid quenching based on the reverse Boudouard reaction to efficiently transform CO₂ and bio-waste.

As part of the design process, bringing concepts to life is essential. At the end of last year, we had the opportunity to visit TEKNIKER’s facilities and see firsthand how the prototypes come to life.

We are very excited to see the first results when our partners put the prototypes into action. So far, the assembly meets the high standards established, although further activities are still needed to fine-tune and optimize the complete system.

A promising project that brings us closer to a more sustainable future!

This project is funded by the European Union and involves leading partners such as: Tekniker, the University of Stuttgart, The Universiteit Antwerpen, Aarhus University, SiCtech INDUCTION, TUHH, Minds & Sparks, and CASALE.
