Empresarios Agrupados and GHESA participate in the 5th edition of the “China International Import Expo”, CIIE, in Shanghai, inaugurated on November 4th by Xi Jinping, President of China.
Javier Perea, Managing Director and CEO of Empresarios Agrupados and GHESA, represented us as the only Spanish company attending the signing ceremony organized by the Spanish Trade and Economic Office in China, being an opportunity to meet Juan José Zaballa Gómez, Economic and Commercial Counselor of Spain in Shanghai.
Xi’s opening remarks highlight the intention of a strategic plan to ensure the conditions to contribute to the Chinese market and strengthen long-term business confidence in this country. He also stressed that holding the CIIE is an important decision by the Chinese government to promote high-level openness, as well as a key measure for China to proactively open its market to the rest of the world.
This important global gathering attracts global corporate giants and world trade leaders, and is the perfect place to showcase our technological expertise and the capabilities of our different lines of business.
A large group of Synergies and Business Development Directors accompanied our Managing Director and CEO with the objective of representing our technical and business capabilities at this important event. Among them were: Luis Javier García de Rozas, Synergies and Development Manager; Xavier Faucher, Nuclear Business Development Manager; Marta Vázquez, New Construction Nuclear Plants Business Development Manager; and Óscar Acebal, Thermal Plants Business Development Manager. In addition, we can say that we distinguished ourselves in the exhibition thanks to a stand with a 3D model of one of our Biomass plant projects.
