  • Scope of services:
    • Design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the ITER CSS-N. The scope also includes the qualification of the PSS-N.
      Part of the design activities: environmental qualification of the product, including ageing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and seismic resistance.
      The main milestones achieved include:
      • Presenting the technology and safety requirements to the French regulatory authority
      • Elaboration of the preliminary design
      • Preparation of the qualification plan
      • Definition of the qualification samples
      • Construction of the samples and transport to the laboratory
      • Preparation of the test procedures: functional test procedures and specific environmental ones (in addition to the internal procedures of the certified laboratory)
      • Qualification of the laboratory as our subcontractor
      • Field inspection of test performance
      • Preparation of test reports
      • Detail design
      • Final Design Review (FDR) completed
      • Elaboration of the detailed electrical and mechanical drawings for cubicles and safety desk
      • Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) completed
